Help identifying this plug

I was in the process of changing my fog light bulbs this evening when I noticed a random plug that wasn't connected to anything.

The car is a 2011 WRX.

It is on the driver's side near the washer fluid tank (I believe whatever the plug is attached to contains another plug that is connected to the fluid tank).

Does anyone know what it could be? Here's a picture!


**Edit: It is probably for the rear wiper on hatches - I have a sedan.**

 

Plug for extension to fog lights? Cant tell if your car has them or not. That's my guess

 

Yeah I have fog lights, and aside from the bulbs needing to be replaced already, they're working ok.

I don't think that plug can really stretch that far to the front of the bumper.

Mystery solved: it is for the rear window washer on hatches... I have a sedan so it isn't used.

 

is that other plug plugged into something or just hanging there? if it is plugged in my guess is subaru uses a generic wiring harness for all cars sharing that body and its for the sti IC sprayer. thats just my guess

 

Yeah its for the rear washer pump that would go in the second boss on the bottle there.

 

IC Spray?
