Help: Installing shifter bushings

I was wondering if anyone would offer their expertise and show me how to install my 5spd shifter bushings. I have the instructions, but was hoping I could have some help from someone who's already done it. Im available weekends and before 1pm weekdays. Let me know!

Mines on a 6spd

 

Installed some on my 08, but it is just a distant memory of swearing. Love the difference though.

 

It doesnt matter who, I just wanna get em installed. I have the short shifter done but want the slop cleaned up.

 

Which bushings did you end up getting? I am looking at the TIC Wide kit for my 09.

 

I went for the perrin red ones. I bought the Perrin short throw kit and it included the bushings. Cost me $79.

Which bushings? "The red ones" isn't helpful. Are they the ones at the bottom of the shift lever? The ones at the shift linkage (front or back)? Union joint?
What car? All of the above are super easy on a GD. Rear bushing is kind of a pain on a GR STI
Where? You have tools/garage space?

I have a 2010 WRX Sedan (GR). I have garage space, hand tools, ramps, jack, and stands. No air tools though. I am willing to do it in my garage but i could bring my tools to your place if needed.

Sorry for not being as clear as I should have been about all that.

 

Those are pretty easy. Remove the rear section of the tranny brace, and you'll have way more room to work. Shouldn't take more than 15-20 minutes to actually do.

 

I'm sure, but i want to make sure I do it right. Would you mind helping? I'll do all the work, just point and tell me what to do. I hope i'm not being too demanding, I'm just learning as I go.

 

If you can wait a while, I'm doing shifter bushings on a GD in the near future and could do yours while I'm at it. Booked until mid September though.
