Alright, so ive been looking for euro tail lights for my 03 wrx wagon and havent found ANY. only sedans. i was wondering if anyone here knows where to get them. also (im new to car mods) i think smoked head and tail lights would look cool. are smoked lights a whole separate light, like euro lights? or is it a tint you put on them? sorry for the amateur questions.

Seriously, save your money. You will just catch crap for those things. You can get tint kits that will 'smoke' them for you from companies on the internet. I think RockBlocker makes some.

If I was a european, I'd be plotting to blow up any place that sells those things and calls them "Euro Style." And the marketing 'genius' that came up with the name would get a pair of them shoved generously up his anus, followed promptly by a medical cauderizing procedure so that they may NEVER be removed without searing, unimaginable pain.

I read your post in the newbie introduction section. If you are strapped for cash, I'd save your money for now and get yourself an uppipe/downpipe combo and an Accessport. Best 800-1000 you could ever spend. You can find lots of deals on here and on eBay for used downpipes and uppipes...no worries on the used thing, exhaust pipes are usually good for a long time, and any cracks or holes could probably be fixed locally by a few of our welding types. The AccessPort is key here too, it allows you to re-flash your ECU with new programming for your mods. The Stage2 ECU flash from Cobb is designed for an uppipe/downpipe/midpipe setup and will net you around 200-210whp. This is a huge improvement and will really wake up your car and make it more fun to drive. Money much better spent that way. 'Euro' tails will simply open you up to ridicule from the performance minded import community, and they offer you nothing in terms of performance and driving enjoyment.

dude...do what you wanna do man.....who gives a freak what other freaken people think. I've seen people w/ some UGLY Ass mods.....i mean freaken hideous Subaru's driving around......and they thinks its the shiznits.....for the F'en realz yo! Ricers are not limited to Honda alrite.......and some ricers if done right looks downright DOPE.

personally i'd leave a lot of the exterior stock, except for rims....add-on skirts, etc. Other than that, I wouldn't change a goddamn thing. And I've seen some ugly ass rims that in hell no way matches a Subby......
Even tho I love subbies.....they can be the ugliest mofo's when done the wrong way...

To add to that....some mofo's got too much cash laying around....spending thousands to make your ride look literally SICK...........peace.

why do i always find that after someone mods the hell out of their ride..........after spending thousands of dollars.........after spending countless hours playing with the damn thing..........they sell the damn car.....and get an EVO or something.....like wtf.....

maybe i'm just ranting but why do we do that ****z.............

Read the post I quoted this from....please, read it aloud to yourself. Preferably in the comfort of your own room, with the door shut and the blinds pulled, so that nobody else has to ever hear these words spoken aloud.

Shoot Angusracer a PM, he's got smoked stock tails on his but I'm not sure where/how he did it. +1 on a TBE and Accessport/OpenECU reflash. Check Ebay, you can find some smokin deals on there. I found a used TXS Stealthback with a muffler shipped for 525, new those go for over 1000. It'll transform your car. Find the "Go" parts first, then get the "show" (you'll never hear me refer to those Ebay lights as "show", however) parts later. There are a few very nice wagons running around on here that you can take a look at too, those might give you some ideas.

Yesterday I spotted a silver wrx with a HUGE alum. wing on the trunk:kekekaugh: in Brooklyn Park at da car wash! I know this ain't the spotted thread, and if that car was a members, then I'm sorry, but c'mon really, WTF!?

I say, black out the hl's and smoke tint the rears. I'm sure alot of people aren't fond of my blU iNt3ri0rz, but its really about how you want to present your car...just try to keep it tasteful. And putting the real money in the power is the way to go! Plus++1 on the up/downpipe, and AP. Plan to go openecu myself, but I do like the flexibility of the AP!

Firestone is the spot, the guys/girls are pretty easy going, no worries on fitting in or being shy...besides, you already fit in, you own a Scooby! ;)

As long as you own a Subaru and haven't put a hideous wing or something on it you'll be welcomed at Firestone.
