the only thing i can think of is if there is something wrong with the wiring in the charging system, wiring to alt and battery, if somethings wrong there the alt is not going to charge the battery.

I had a problem with my main fuse box being junk. I had to wire around it.

My guess would be starter, there aren't many things that draw enough current to kill your battery and alternator.

Dumb question have you had everything tested?

+1.....did you have any of them tested (alts or batts)?

sounds to me like it's just not charging for some reason....or you've got a dead short.

btw, it's perfectly legal (and safe, btw....just have to be extra careful) to tow a car on a strap, but the towed car needs to have it's flashers on. which, I'm assuming wasn't happening if your battery is dead.

well..the alternator and battery is brand new! when we towed it on a strap...fuji was towing me while silver-sti was behind...so they both had their e-lights on...but the cop that pulled us over said for us to park and then go later so that he wouldn't get in trouble...but i knew him from work...so he let us off then we decided to park it the whole night...and drove it home last night...but lets just wait to see what actually happens...

well..the battery is from autozone (brand new!) and the alternator is brand new (o'reilly auto parts) so yes....o'reilly was the only one that was carrying the alternator in stock...so i picked it up instead of waiting for 4-5 days.....so yup

take one of the old ones back and have it tested. it'll take them about 35 seconds to tell you if it works or not.

Do you have a system in the car? Like a huge system? That could drain the Battery... ~
