I just traded my 04 wagon for a 06 sedan. Tried to do the fog light mod just like on the 04. Battery was disconnected. Orange wire to cut red\green. I put every thing back together and now I don't have any dash lights, radio, hvac. Also my abs and air bag lights are on in the gauge cluster. I reconnected everything back the way it was originally and the problem remains.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery. You can try checking fuses for missing dash lights. Other wise I am not sure. I am guessing the wiring is slightly different in the 06 from the 04.

I checked all fuses underhood and dash. I also reset the ecu by removing the negetive battery cable. I guess I should have said that before. Thank you though.

Did you use a dmm to test the wires, or just blindly cut and re-attach wires?? I would definitely undo what you connected and test out what the wires are actually for.

    Reset wires to stock.

I bet something got witched around on the wiring harness between 04 and 06. they may have changed the wire colors or something. get the wiring diagram for the car and go from there.

I reset the wires to stock right away and still the same problems. Yes I did screw up and just change the wiring without checking them. I made the mistake of assuming the mod would work because the wiringon the fusebox and the relay loook exactly the same as on the 04. I hate to do it but I may break down and bring it in to have a pro look at it because I'm stumped.

Galaxy auto has done great work for me when it comes to electrical problems in the car. that and they are reasonably prices.
