humm....it came with my Electronic Autometer boost guage...... wonder if I can put it in place of my stock one? Tip and tricks?? What can I do with this little thingy besides use it for my boost guage?
What PSI does the guage go to? It is the same thing as a map sensor just used to tell boost to a guage instead of to an ECU
you might be able to switch it with the stock one, it depends on the voltage range that the sensor uses. if its the same as the ECU your fine it its off it wont work right. otherwise it would be easy to wire in.
The factory ECU is calibrated for a specific MAP sensor. It's very doubtful that the subaru sensor will have the same transfer fuction as the GM unit. Just like switching out MAFs. The sensor will be saying one thing and the ECU will interpret it as another.
