I have a set of JDM STi hid's on my 02 wrx. Me and a buddy of mine made up a wire harness just like the one lightwerkz sell but it was not a pnp.(fueses, relays and what not) The headlights were working great till the other day and I'm not sure what happend. The problem I'm having with them is my hid lows will not stay on when I turn my high beams on. They would stay on before with the highs as they are supost to do but now no longer do. I did not have the DRL disabled untill today but they still do not stay on. I checked all the fueses and the relays are all working fine. Any one know what it could be? A help would be great! Thanks guys!

Well, it is only 3 wires and 1 is a constant hot and the other 2 get grounded when you turn on the high/low beams. Should take 2 minutes with a meter. Did you check the factory relays??

Ok, so you added relays to the factory relays?? And if you did, are those clicking?? Again, 2 minutes and a meter will have it figured out.

Yes. The stock wire harness can't handle the power that the hids pull so they are a must when pulling the the extra power from the battery. I'm heading back home this weekend and me and my buddy that put them in are going to take a look and hopefully get them figured out.

This is what the harness looks like. Mine's just not a plug and play.
