You could stick the ballast on the battery...If that's what you're wondering about. Sometimes you have to drill a hole through the cap as well, to get the bulb through it.

The clip doesn't fit over the new bulb (yes the tab is in the right spot) and this type doesn't connect to the battery I don't think ???

    Hey Chet,

I just tried to give you a call. I dug up the pictures I took when I was installing Ryan's kit so maybe I can tackle two birds with one stone here.

This is where we mounted it on the driver's side. I now remember it fit there very snugly with the battery behind it (it's removed in the picture).

And if you can tell, the wire that goes into the ballast should have some nylon tubing around it. Give me a call if you have questions.

There's another picture of the mounting/wires.

Edit: I'm going to get off the computer but like I said, just give me a call if you run into any issues. I'll hop back on the computer and try to walk you through.

I just got off the phone with Ryan and he says I was supposed to get the nylon cable? Which if I was supposed to get it in the kit I didn't :(

Ok. I know I wasn't making much sense on the phone.

But I'll probably make more sense just typing this lol.

For the AMP connectors, there are two, one larger, one smaller. It fits in one way but this way may be a reversed polarity.

So you want to reverse the two AMP connectors (black and gray), but the problem is they don't fit correctly. So what you can do to make this a bit more simplistic is to flip the plug that goes into the ballast. That plug goes in one way easily, but if you use a screwdriver or something and pull back the clips you can get it in the opposite way.

That way is a little bit easier than using a pliers and recrimping the metal plugs.

Hopefully you put the rear dust covers back on though. Moisture on HID bulbs is NOT GOOD!

You should drill a hole in the dust caps to run wires through.
