The projectors are from an Acura TSX. The ballast, bulbs and shrouds are from a BMW M3.

If you have the time and patience I can walk you through it. If not I wouldn't charge much. I also posted a write up on rs25.com http://www.rs25.com/forums/showthread.php?t=41155

    Right here.

Pretty much any car can be done, it just takes a little time and patience.

If you can do this with a reasonable price tag I might have to start saving my cash. Send me a pm of how much you would charge and maybe I could send my stuff up to your place over spring break or something :D

I intially wanted the BMW dual beam look, but it would've require way too much cutting. Plus I wouldn't be able to adjust my headlights using the factory adjusters. I didn't want the projector and bulbs to be sticking out the either beacuse this might cause water problems down the road.

are the HID good enought so that it would be possible to get by w/ a high beam?

I've been working at it for about a month a so during my winter break. SVX has HUGE projectors so my cutting work turned out to be more than yours. Yours look good! I wished you wrote this project up sooner so I didn't find out to do it the hard way! :(

STiwannabe, that is a wonderful modification that will have a lot of people doing it to their old skool Imprezas, too. I didnt' know you were so creative, man. ;) I would never have tried that myself.

My total cost for the HID parts are listed
    TSX Projectors $175shipped
    e46 Ballast/Bulbs/Shrouds $200shipped
    Screws/Wiring/Misc stuff $20

    Dremel Tool $60

I wouldn't say HID would be the end all be all lighting, because you will still need your highs in some cases.
