this may be a stupid question but does anyone think it will be a problem if i dont use a hood scoop splitter on my 05 sti hood scoop (i have a front mount). should i keep it on or would taking it off be fine?

Correct me if I am wrong, but i was commenting on some splitters Russ had in his garage this weekend... so i think i can answer this. The whole purpose of the splitter is to bring air to the front of the intercooler. if you have a front mount then the spitter is not needed.

if you don't have a tmic, why would you need a splitter? the splitter's purpose is to better direct airflow over and through the tmic
