So I was at a friends place today and had my car parked on the side of the ave. and some one drove by and busted the mirror off of my WRX... The person in the mid 1990's Honda Accord just came smokin around the corner above where I had parked, and hit the mirror off my car. PISSED! I really love some of the AWESOME minnesota drivers in the Duluth area!! Here is a pic. I guess it could have been worse. I am glad that no paint got scratched on the car tho.:emo:
Sucks dude. I hate it when people don't leave notes. Something similar, although not quite as bad, happened to me a couple weeks ago. Serves you right for not having your wheels turned the "correct" way for parking on the downhill though.
I was standing on the porch right in front of the car when it all went down! And I just trust the automatic w/ the parking pin to hold me on the hills! Thanks
Sorry to hear :emo: and you are right at least nothing major because it could of been much worst w/ serious damage! I made a habit; every time I park on the street I would fold my mirror inward. WAIT...you should of chase that dude down with your WRX!!
LMFAO! Just earlier this year this f&%^tard in a 90-93 Honda Accord clipped my girlfriend's Integra's driver side rear view mirror as well! The best part is that HIS Passenger Rear View mirror was broken off instead! I was parking behind her, in my 4th gen 5 spd maxima that runs high 13's (^_^), when I saw this happen. I gave chase, of course easily catching up to him, and was about to pull a pass and make him pull over when my girlfriend called me and told me that her car was fine. I passed him in the other lane and laughed at him and then busted a U turn back.(^_^) SCORE ONE FOR THE GOOD GUYS! Picked up his rear view mirror and sold the motor for $5 on ebay (^_^)
Does anyone have or know someone who may have a mirror? I had to put on a cheap Ebay special on there for now and only on one side!!! DAMN!!
Just your mirror was hit?! Coulda been WAY worse. I had omeone side swipe my car in a parking lot and try to sneak away....WITH THE ALARM GOING OFF! I heard it honking, said to my wife,"that sounds like my car's horn." Shure a sh!t, a Caddilac trying to sneak away from my car, and I busted 'em! That was when it (03 WRX) had 20, 000 on it!
