Never said I was doing to run it the way it sit's now. There's no way it would be track able at the hight it's sitting at. I just like the way it looks/sit's now and that's one thing thats cool about coilovers. You can go up/down with them when ever you want:biggrin: And back to the autoX thing... It would be for fun. I'm not going to be trying to take home the gold! Just have a fun and good time driving the car. If I was going to getting in the racing hard core like some people I would got a STi! And thanks for the einstein autox input captain awesome.

It is called protecting your property. It is so ******* vendors don't steal your work to sell their ****. It is also so the photog (who may be a professional), gets credit where credit is due (for the work, not the car). It also attaches a name to the work, since everyone think that if there is a digital picture out there, they can steal it.

And if you couldn't tell, yes, I have had people steal my work and try to sell it for their own profit. And I am not a professional.

Ok guys, lets keep this civil. Criticism backed by technical data is fine, but lets try to keep from everyone getting butthurt :).

Is that a local? I know there was a guy on Nasioc a few years back that was running 10.5" wide CCWs like that with a home brewed wide fender setup.

I've looked around a little and haven't had any luck :( I really just want to roll the fender and drop it to give my subie an aggressive look, and handling feature too!

He doesn't. That Lexus is the very height of stupidity.

And you basically answer DG's question.

People rail against this "aggressive stretched tire" movement because it is pure idiocy. Fashion and "style" at the expense of function is just plain stupid.

The fact that it is glamourized and the existence of forums dedicated to this stupidity makes it all the worse.

"Look at me! I'm proud I put the wrong size wheels on my car and the wrong size tires on my wheels! I dropped the car and set the camber to the point I can barely drive it! It's 'Aggressive'!"

    Morons.

Here's a guy that tracks his car and is running around the same offset I am and has tires that are stretched more then mine. Looks like you can track cars with an aggressive set ups :)

I could drive a car on a track with snow tires. What's your point?

You're missing the crux of this. Hellaflushers are paying money to make their car handle worse, so they can look "better", as looks are subjective. If the guy above were to put some tires/wheels that weren't "hellaflush" on the car, I bet he'd see some improvement in lap times. All it's going to take is one blown bead to really wreck his day, especially on a track.

Exactly. However, with your new steamrollers I would imagine that you're not going to have to worry about grip in turns because you won't be able to turn the wheels off center without taking out your fenders. You'll have a metric **** ton of grip at launch though

Tracking wheels with tires like this on it will blow the bead. Looking at the amout of $ hes got into his wheels, breaks and other things I dont think he would chance blown a bead and wrecking his car.(thinking he knows what he's doing.) It is posible to track cars with out 265's or what ever size is the "right" size. I do think that some people take the "hellaflush" thing to far. Like the joke of a car up top. But the other car I posted a pic of is functional just as mine will be in a short time.
