alright, so over the winter I did myself a big favor and hit a snowbank, ripping the center "lip" of my bumper out. Congratulations to myself, and its symetrical, but the issue still stands.

Either replace the bumper, and get a small lip, or keep the same bumper, and find a lip that covers it up.

Or, anyone have other ideas, I'm open.

right now the only one I can find that cover that portion seem ricey.

C-WEST (the thing that coms up the side of the bumper makes it look...eh)

STI V2 Replica has a small midsection, but it doesnt look like enough to cover the damage.

Also thought I'd add that the Seibon lip looks to cover that area, and is my favorite, however..its pretty pricey, and we all knows how easily carbon fiber...EXPLODES if you hit anything. the car is pretty low and I know I will be scraping every once in awhile.

Im also curious, what are the big changes between bumpers on the 02-03 and 04+ that would change things for LIPS

no idea how that happened. Especially because when I edited the one, it made the same changes to the other.

Odd...very odd. Mods delete the other one, if it wont nuke this one too

The foglight covers will be taken out/replaced as well.

You have a wagon, so the only 2 lips that will fit that may cover that section are the STI v1 ans STI v2. All of the other lips are too wide to fit.

IIRC getting a new bumper/stock lip thing is relatively cheap. It will probably not cost too much more to have the new bumper/lip thing painted over getting an aftermarket one painted.

okay, so I need some more info.

Does anyone know which lips fit the wagons? I'm curious because Im wondering what the differences in the bumpers are. What changes would cause issues...I'm not seeing exactly what the reason is.

Only thing I can think of is that the fender flares could have something to do with it?

I like the c west lip, but I to am not big on the sides. If they would have made the sides even with the front just straight back it would look pretty good. I am in the same mind frame, but I just want a nice front lip to finish off the front end. Stock just doesnt look right to me, like somethings missing on the bottom. I have spliced kits from other cars in the past to fit my old car and the look was very nice. But doing correct fiber glass work is a must to make it look right. I had a probe and got a nice subtle lip for a 2nd gen probe. The 2nd gen lip was wider and needed to be cut to fit the first gen bumper width. With the help from my friend at a body shop we got it to look like it was made for my probe and noone ever noticed, instead I was asked where I bought it.

Its harder to find lipes now for our bugeyes because of all the newer models that have come out. They used to be a dime a dozen. Please post pics of what you end u getting please.

Wagon bumper is more narrow, possibly the brake vents go a little lower, and the side vents are different. Main thing is that is is more narrow.
