j/w b4 I spent $70 on NORTON 360 software, anybody have the NORTON 360 that can install up to 3 computers? If you only use on one computer, I would like to use it on mine too. I can pay you too if you want. oh, by the way my computer is Win. XP media
I'm not a big fan of Norton. Have you thought of using the free stuff like AVG Free or Avast for antivirus? XP's built in firewall or Comodo? What is requiring you to get Norton 360?
Run Avast for free stuff, or NOD32 for a purchased A/V. Don't infect your computer with Norton 360, it is junk.
No one needs Norton. (crap) http://free.grisoft.com/ Free anti-spyware and anti-virus. No limit to the number of PCs you install it on, cuz it's free.
Norton Sucks. Really. It's the worst piece of crap out there. And a total resource hog. AVG free for antivirus Zonealarm or Comodo for firewall. Spybot S&D for malware. All free and effective.
I need one that will DETECT, and REMOVED crap out of my computer. Most of the softwares I see only SEARCH/DETECT but will NOT remove them. I mean you'll have to pay for the REMOVAL version. Thats why I prefer to buy it physically instead of paying for a download. and yea I do have Spybot S&D
In that case, NOD32. Just download a trial of it from their site and try it for 30 days. I think you can order a disc from them in the meantime. Also, stay off of the asian porn sites.
got it. I used 2 loads already, but have 1 load left. Let me know if you still need it. It takes like an hour to install it, and you have to register it within 7 days or else it stops working. If you want to buy your own disk, I got mine on sale at Best buy for $30, but I don't know if it's still on sale or not.
Windows firewall plays much better with Windows then Zone. Also, Norton 360 lets you install it on 3 household pcs. Giving it to someone outside of your residence is against TOS. Just grab on of the free procducts mentioned.
