Even on the full size trucks! http://www.autoblog.com/2009/02/16/ford-plans-four-cylinder-for-every-model-by-2013/
I think he is... however i thought that ford wasn't going to ask for or recieve any bail-out money Becuase they don't want any help or something
They are the only one out of the big three to not receive one and as of last months sales still doing better than Mopar and GM.
Psssh. Amateur. Ford's Ecoboost program is not new news. http://www.greencarcongress.com/2009/01/fords-35l-produ.html http://www.themustangnews.com/tech_08/st-0408ecoboost117.htm
All I say is, about effing time. Obviously, demand and the impatience of the american people has dictated that they produce larger engines to satisfy the thirst for power and instant delivery. More developement into variable geometry turbines is needed.
^^^This!^^^ Also I seem to recall honda has some variable exhaust tech on the turbo used on the Acura RDX. I would love to see what 5-10 years of industry-wide serious turbo research could yeild. :yumyum:
Ford is giving us a 340hp AWD twin turbo taurus. They get to whatever they want as far as i'm concerned.
