Now where the crap can I ride it around here if/when I get one? For some crazy reason, the wife thinks it's a good idea if we get two of them.
What tracks? How much does a day of open lapping cost? Do you need some sort of membership or anything like that to the track?
i go to meadow valley...its open riding all day sun up to sun down for $25...most places you need to be a member but here you dont...
then get one! i can always use more people to ride with...at a little over $100 a month you can get one!
dont take tom to meadow valley.. everyone calls it MEDICAL valley for a reason, ask my friend bill
heh, well I need somewhere to hurt myself. Well anyways........I'm 50% towards my goal of owning 2 bikes. 1 down, 1 to go......w00t! Also, Bob's Cycle Supply is having a mega sale on gear right now -- I bought $200 worth of stuff and ended up saving almost $170. Sweet.
what about the build on the car??? is that on hold for now??? you should probably get your laptop going again so you can make some dirtbiking money by tunning.... hint hint hint!!!!
Yup. Time for a change and I don't want to break my tranny which would suddenly double the cost of the build since PPGs would "have" to be purchased, hehehe. I'm going to try to fix it with a hair dryer tomorrow. Seriously.
The onboard video chip on the motherboard appears to have a loose connection somewhere on it causing the machine to not boot up at all. I can press down on it hard and get the machine to boot and stay on temporarily. Since the chip is of a pin and socket (but without a locking mechanism like the cpu) design that is soldered in, the only way to really fix it is to try and heat the chip enough to melt the solder underneath but not get it hot enough where it will wreck either the mobo or the chip itself. As it stands, my attempt didn't work to reestablish a good connection. Heck, even if I do get it running again, I don't know if I'll ever trust it enough to ever flash a car with it again -- the last thing I need is for the machine to quit working while in the middle of a reflash. Basically I need a new laptop but could really care less about tuning or modding my car at the moment. Heh, I'll probably be tuning again within a few weeks after I break my legs on the new bike. lol.
There's an MX park in Arkansaw WI. I've been there a bunch of times, since we run RallyCrosses there, but I've never actually looked at the track, so I can't say what it's actually like. I want to say it's $10/day to ride.
Yup, it's $15 a day. You (and especially Mr. Cox) should take your car on the track, hehehe. http://www.mnracing.com/map/ Here's a map that shows all of the tracks in the region. What I'm mainly interested in is land with trails that both myself and the wifey can ride.
just get a play bike and rip up the streets like i do i passed a cop yesterday and he didn't even chase me must have known he wouldn't have caught me.
Ok, now we have two bikes and a trailer. yay. We picked up a new holdover '06 TTR-125 a few hours ago. w00t!
