Didn't see an ice fishing thread for 2014 yet so figured I'd see how everyone is doing! I've only been out a couple times this year. Last weekend was at Cedar lake by New Prague and caught 26 8ish inch crappies. Heading to Lake Waconia tomorrow morning to hopefully catch a few Walters!

Lake Waconia- lake is filled with small perch. We fished for walleye near sunrise, but with the perch dominating our line we searched for some school of panfish instead. Day progressed and we caught nothing but small perch everywhere we tried. Lesson learned.

I've been lucky on Lake Sarah with the crappies.
Pelican Lake has been good with northerns.

Went to Brainerd Jaycees tournament last weekend. Weather was better then past years. Still no fish in 3 years of trying!
