Independent shops?

    A friend of mine would like recommendations for independent shops to take her Outback to - she wants warranteed work but doesn't want to pay dealership prices.

    now when you say warrantied work does she mean work that has a shop warranty or work that is doen and covered by dealer warranty.. cause the former is doen by ANY reputable shop, where as you would be hard to find a store to replace a dealer item under dealer warranty and eat it...


    My store offers good warranties.... lifetime in tune ups... etc etc... also it is covered intershop too.. so if she has that job doen here and is in California and has an issue with it.. then it is usually done under warranty by that store and worked out between the stores.. though labor is usually only 90days.... and customer ends up paying the labor side of things...


    Meineke in Shakopee (952-403-0700) but it may be a haul to drive here depending on where she is...
