I'm just driving along and the check engine light and the cruise control lights come on. Check engine is continious and the cruise goes on and off. 2005 LGTW stage 2. up and down pipes, perrin turbo inlet, perrin air filter. AP stage2 map/ 91 oct. Any suggestions? jack
I guessing it could be evap code p0442 or p0455 check your gas cap it might be loose. I normaly get this codes on all the subaru I work with at work cause the person who cleans the rental cars always have the car running when pumping gas or don't sercure the fuel cap correctly.
the saga continues,,, I started the car this morning, no extra lights. The AP said, there was no problem. So I washed it, then decided to ride around with that clean car feeling. Driving down the highway, all of a sudden, loss of power and lots of smoke. Pulling over, I pop the hood. Oil all over the right side of the engine compartment. After closer examination, the large oil hose has come off its connection, hense the oil. After it has cooled down a while, I put in a quart of oil. A good level at the diplstick. The car wont turn over. Having it towed to white bear subaru, tomarrow. With only 22,000 miles it better be covered . sad jack
oh ****. The dealer called yesterday, said, it's either a bad block or a blown turbo. If i send them service records , they would send it to Subaru for coverage. I will find out whats up today. jack
