Input on exterior modifications

I'm gauging interest in buying one or both of these parts. I'm wondering what you guys think of them and if anyone here has installed either of them! Thanks.

 

Both look tacky.

 

I'm with sneefy neither of them jump out to me as something I would want on my Wrx.

 

Well I do want the exhaust one because I don't want it to end up like my old white subaru where you can see all the soot buildup right there.

 

I can think of MANY better things to do with that $300, car related or otherwise.

Did you wash the white one often?

 

Yeah I did some of it was from the previous owner once it's on it does not want to come off!

 

Longer hangers will help you out here..

 

I would think you will be fine with out it on this car. I'd spend the money elsewhere

Unpainted carbon fiber is usually tacky IMO. Obviously it's personal taste and it can work on some high end cars but the carbon fiber prefers to be painted with something opaque to protect from UV.
Unless it saves you a significant amount of weight don't waste money on CF stuff.

Either stay on top of keeping it cleaned up (clay bar), or have flawless front ends clearbra it.

Unless you just like the look of it. Then go for it. No need to seek validation and/or hide behind functionality to justify something you want.

Ive installed both. Both are easy to install. Ive never had one on my own car but they arent easy or fun to clean.

 

Thank you very much! Yeah I haven't deciding what I'm going to do yet but I'll prolly order something next week and it will most likely be a diffuser instead now!
