here is the deal i had to bake apart my headlights to clean my lenses. The condensation inside must have heated into the lens? any tips on cleaning the inside? Back on topic... I'm wanting to paint my headlights to look like the RB32o's All chrome... I currently have the grey wrx housings, here are my options paint the entire housing and amber piece chrome or just paint the amber piece to match the current color. Has anyone had really good results with this? my only concern is the chrome not turning out perfect.... Would anyone be willing to trade their chrome housings for grey wrx ones? post any comments regarding this subject, input is appreciated.

Yep, Chrome paint is really difficult to get to look even remotely correct.
As far as the baked in water spots, you can try some plastic polish. A more aggressive approach would be wetsand and polish, but getting a buffing wheel in to the lens is hard.

I don't remember how it is on the 06 headlamps, but the 04 and 05, the amber plastic piece...we just busted those off. Then you use a yellow turn signal bulb, and use some of that chrome paint and give the glass a little dusting. the yellow light will still shine through the paint, but you wont see a big ugly yellow ball in your chromed housings.

Oops, removing all the text because I was thinking you had a later model WRX, not a couple years older... So nevermind!

Well here we go. Success! I Did a heavy cut and polish on the outside and got that almost perfect, Inside i used PlastX and got that all cleared up. For painting i didnt do the entire housing but i did do the amber reflector in a chrome, it looks a little rough but it sill looks good. I will have pics soon.
