That does seem a little high. I have Progressive and pay 880/ 6 months for 2 cars(that is for full coverage on wrx, and liabilty on a civic), with 2 speeding tickets. And I am 22 years old. I shoped around at alot of companies, and that was the best rate, everyone else wanted 1100/ 6 months or more...

Check out AAA as well. paying 660 for full coverage on my 05 WRX and 02 explorer as well as Renters insurance per 6 months @ 31 years old. Fiance has an accident my record is 5 years clean. Supposedly AAA gives a discount for good credit and driving a subaru. also they give a few other discounts if you belong to different organizations; Example, affinity credit union (not sure on other banks), AAA auto club (wont let my fiance leave home without this) or you work for local companies.

    Got State Farm.

    01 Honda CR-V
    85 Toyota MR-2
    01 Kawi ZX6R
    Home owners

All vehicles have full coverage with $250 deductibles.

    $125 a month.

Oh yeah, I'm 35 with a careless driving ticket that should be coming off this year or next year and possibly a speed from a few years ago. Never saw a rate increase in the past 5 years except when I added to the policy.

It will make a difference as to what your deductible is. If you carry a higher deductible, your rates will go down.

State farm. $340 every 6 on a 09 FXT. No tickets, plus home owner, multi car, blah, blah blah. Funny part is, it is only $20 more than I was paying on my 02 wrx. The FXT is not considered a performance vehicle. Nothing like flying under the radar on that one.

Im 26 with clean driving record.... bought an 05 Outback XT and pay $460 for six month of full coverage. It through Hatzung Insurance, they are a private insurance company that uses their resources to find you the best rate with the big companies. My family has used them for years and they are great!!!

They're not the cheapest, but they're well priced.
Thier coverage is excellent. No fighting about values after the fact, for one (they're set every year).

I have done tons of shopping around lately for insurance. I'm 22 and have 3 tickets and have full coverage on an '03 WRX.

Cheapest I've found anywhere is Unitrin Direct @ $220 a month. This is what I have now after american family jacked mine way up.

Progressive rated me at $250 a month. Get a quote from Unitrin and see, it might be lower for you too. So far I haven't found anything cheaper than Unitrin for me.

The best way to get the best rates is to go direct to the company like progressive direct or unitrin direct. Agents make comission on the sale of your business to the company. Cutting the middle man out makes a difference on your policy. You could go to a insurance broke. (MN does not reconize insurance brokers).

It best to combine coverage with a company they cut you a deal in that case. And look for a company that looks at your past 3 year driving record. Some companys look at 5 year but can only hold 3 years against you when it comes to underwriting. but everyones underwriting is different.
    Hope that Helps...
