Into my WRX, I'm installing a VF39, fuel pump, injectors, TMIC, and a Perrin turbo inlet this weekend. From what I understand, I don't NEED to remove the manifold for installing any of the above. Although, the Perrin instructions suggest that if I want to remove the stock inlet without hacking it, I'll have to remove the manifold.

Will removing the manifold make any of the other installs easier as well, or should I just leave it and work around it? If I do remove should I get new gaskets?

if its your first time removing it its going to take a long time. plus you probably still have the green brackets of death on.

just leave it on and loosen the bolts so you can move it around a bit...making it easier to get the turbo inlet lined up. just chop your stock inlet hose to get it out.

you can get the injectors in without take the mani off, but you'll need to get the gbod's off

Justin is right. The only reason to fully remove the intake is if you are removing your tgvs. Other wise just lift it up enough to get the injectors and the inlet in.
