Intake Silencer???

    how do you take off the intake silencer?

    It requires taking off splashgaurds that NEVER go back togather right. leave it on.

    LOL. Just leave it on! It's there for a reason and it works, there is no reason to take it off unless you actually have an intake. But if you really want to take it off, its common sense to figure it out. I did it myself with eyes, and hands. No instructions.

    not that hard...just read and be careful you will most likely break some clips...damn Subaru than their plastic clips.

    dont worry about it
    do it from under the car and its easy. theres a splash guard that you take a couple of push pins out and there is a nut in the bay on the fender wall. take that out and there will be a bolt that is mounted by the fog light on the frame. take that out and pull the dam thing out from under the car. then off to turbo noizors...

    I did mine when I first got the wrx as I dropped something into the snorkus and a magnet wasn't getting it back out. Put it back in a week later. Basically I got ever so slightly a very small amount of extra road noise outta the delete. Seemed silly to do it for that. Doesn't change anything from the perspective of the passerby. Just my experience.

    Just make sure to remove the 2-3 screws that holds the silencer to the car wall.
