My driver side intercooler piping gets hot. Hot enough to where I think it could cause some damage. The charge pipe is currently touching two lines. The Fuel line and the A/C line. I'm concern that it may burn a hole or do something to those lines. Is there something I could wrap the intercooler piping or the lines with to keep it from heating or burning up?
I wonder if getting them coated with thermal displacement coating at GrimmSpeed would help? Otherwise, maybe something like the turbo blanket material? Or try to ziptie the fuel and A/C line away from it?
Well, you may want to talk to the guys at GrimmSpeed about thermal coating it. My old SRI airbox that i had coated stayed cool to the touch after it was coated. But before it got coated, it was hot as hell when you touched it.
Not sure...it usually depends on the size of the piece that needs to be coated. You'll need to talk to them to get an accurate quote mang.
