I ran an ebay intercooler for 2 years. The fitment wasn't great and it was a p.i.t.a to take out and put back in. So I switched to a used Perrin tmic. Depending on your mods, an sti intercooler will work fine. My Perrin is overkill for my vf39 set up.
What turbo?? If you are running the stock td04, the stock IC works just fine. There is enough surface area to handle the volume. Your best bet is to add a splitter and make sure that the ic has a good seal to the hood. Russ
