Greetings to all. I just moved back to MN after suffering for years in NYC without a car. I called before I moved to locate a 2011 WRX Premium and a silver one with the short throw shift kit showed up. Call it a 5-door if it makes you feel good, I'm going with wagon, and not just any wagon, this is the Battle Wagon, built to defeat Mother Nature.

I've had the car for a week and a half and even with 13+ inches of snow this thing is completely unstoppable (with a fresh set of Blizzaks). I love it. Subaru says love is what makes it a Subaru...guess there is truth in advertising once in a while.

I posted an album of the car, except for the Blizzaks, she's bone stock.

Hope to meet some members at a meet up in the future.

Welcome to the forum. I think it's safe to say you'll love it even more as time passes. I know that's what happened with me.

I don't like the fact that some people consider it a wagon. IMO it's a hatch because of overall vehicle length and other factors such as cargo space.

    Otherwise enjoy your stay!

Thanks for clarifying that...I had never paid too much attention to that window. Now that i look at it again, the window justifies it to be a wagon.

I like to call it a hatch. Wikipedia isn't very clear on the differentiation, but it does show a picture of a car that looks nearly identical to a 3rd gen Impreza as the example for a hatch, and states that the presence of a D-pillar doesn't automatically make it a wagon, so I'm sticking with calling it a hatch. :)

thanks guys. call it what you will, wagon or hatch, it's irrelevant. perhaps that is why subaru calls it a 5-door.
