    haha! Just picked it up tonight from projectbrat

    I love it. Fuel gauge is wacky though and it needs tuning something fierce, but man, so much fun to drive.

    oohh yeah, and does that car have the ej20g in it? if so you should definately bore it out to 22b specs! thta would be MEAN!

    I was going to get an 06WRx but this thing looks oh...

    about eleventy billion times better. And has good performance potential too. Badly needs tuning though. I'll still autocross it, probably in Street Mod, where neal will rape me at every event, but I don't really care. I'll probably still co drive an STS car so i can compete in that class since i love it, obviously for a car like this there will be no shortage of people lining up to co-drive it...

    I actually like the ver5 suspension a lot. less bouncy and rattly than my ver7RA spec C w/camber plates. It has a 21mm whiteline bar in back, and a 19mm in front. I really don't think i'll change the suspension at all unless i jsut say screw it and bu it some coilovers in the spring. I want to baby this chassis a bit more than my last one though. I also the a Front strut tower brace, as this car actually needs one unlike my old car...

    yeah, that car has the ej20g motor in it, just like mine :lol: , but i thought i remember him telling me it still has the td04 turbo in it, not positive though. very nice car though, good buy.

    Yep on the first line! ;)

    I was happy with the Ver5 in the RS until I went coilovers....you should drive mine sometime if you need any convincing, I get nothing but positive comments on its handling when I give rides... 8)

    ohhh nice car, i miss it already.... let me know how the tune goes id like to get a ride in it once its all done... the turbo isnt a td04 its some 90 degree inlet early turbo, your car made it home nicely and putting the blizzaks on it this week sometime, keep in touch man i like to see a suby enthusiest got it and everyone will appreciate it...

    lol, I just put blizzaks on this one. The new revo ones. They handle pretty ncie on the city streets. I'm about to dash out for a sec and take some pictures of it.

    i think rich just bought some expanded sheet metal and put the infront of his, but i cant remember exactly. it also doesnt look like you have much space to fit some in there

    so probably a tdo5 then, the early 90 degree ones on imprezas anyways, the autos had the tdo4 and manual cars had the tdo5 16g, which is a very strong turbo and quite efficient.

    Took it over to the dyno at RS today.

    Pulled 160 WHP / 180 WTQ. AFR is fine, but totally goes rich after 5k rpm. like I said, needs a good tune. The link box orks when it wants to, but seems to work ok. I was able to set rev limit on it, but after I left th dyno as it didn't feel like coming on at all while we were there.

    I'll post the sheets tomorrow along with some shots with Tbone's car.
