Hey folks, I just wanted to put the word out that my company Stanley Steemer is hiring. It is for a carpet technician position, the job is fun and fast paced, you will not be stuck in an office all day and you get to meet interesting people and create happy customers! We have multiple positions to fill. Starting pay is between $12-$15/hr with lots of opportunity for advancement we are a national company that is growing rapidly. We offer full benefits including medical, dental, vision, paid holidays, paid vacation, and 401k. No experience is required, somewhat clean driving record is preferred. We will subject new hires to a background check and drug test. Please call 1-800-783-3637 and ask for Trent at extension 4403. Thank you!
The best thing to do would be to call Trent at that number and ask him what we are currently looking for, I am in sales and thought I would help out and post this for all the subie folks in case anybody is looking
They looking for any part time by chance? I'll be getting a new schedule at work and I'm thinking of picking up a part time job a day or two a week possibly.
Perhaps, I would just call and ask, the worst they could say is no. HR just asked me if I knew of anybody and I though of posting here since the subie gang is a pretty hard working, smart group of people!
Just left Zerorez to go back to school... I loved the cleaning carpet business. Just wasnt a strong salesman, so i left.
Hmm.. interesting. What do you think of them? They sure have alot of people talking about them, everybody seems to hear their radio ads. I understand they don't offer any benefits? I hear they are doing an insane amout of jobs, even on Sundays. Is it still just Mike Kaplan and Jim Hoag that own it or do they have more investors/owners? Do they do many jobs in St. Cloud? We don't go up there from here, there is already a Stanley franchise established there. How may trucks do they send out usually? We have 2 man crews so selling isn't an issue, do they still just have 1 man crews there? unless they are training or have a big route of course.
I liked the job of it and some of the people. They have no benefits, they were finally talking about fixed schedules, finally got PTO, Either very busy or Very Slow, did not use a senority system... It was a good company caused they cared about the employees, but nothing got done in any kind of hurry. 7 days a week, normally 7:30am to 7:00pm. St. cloud wasnt a normal route but also wasnt uncommon either. 30 trucks out normal on the busy days. 1 man crew, unless you were injuried, trainning, or had a big job/commerical job. Yea just Jim and Mike owning and rachelle is there GM, (I think thats what she did, I never knew what she did really) The biggest problem I had working there, was when it was slow. They would randomly cut people from routes... senority did not factor in. So in the winter I had a 2 week paycheck less then $400. No good
