Im sure with a nice set of snow tires and being light on the throttle the car would be just fine. I love S2K's! 9k redline FTW!

i work at a honda dealer and i am not extremly impressed with them, they look great and are a blast to drive, but as far as power goes it's just not there, we even put a vortech supercharger on a customers car and even after that it wasn't that impressive, fast but not what i expected.
as far as driving in winter with the stock tires- NO WAY- with some good winter tires i'm sure you could manage

Aren't those rear wheel drives? It sucks in the snow...We had a use one here and it was slipp'in and sliding. And I was going 10-15 mph, didn't help that it was icy too.

Its not THAT bad in the snow, just needs snow tires. Its no miata but its pretty close to 50/50 if not already. Plus, driving rwd in the snow can be fun (just not from a stop), will most definitely help yr driving skills (assuming you dont wreck), and will grow hair on yr chest. I agree with 95l that its not as fast as it looks/seems but the tranny sure shifts nice.

Actually the S2000 is not terrible in the winter. It has 50/50 weight distribution and the engine has no torque. Starting would be easier than in a Mustang, not as good as a FWD car. Most RWD cars are terrible because the distribution is like 65/35 or worse.

I drove an Iroc in the winter in HS and never saw the ditch. I saw my English teacher in the one outside school. With his new Cobra.

I suppose you're too big for a Miata then, right? Maybe save your pennies for a Solstice GXP. A turbo with 250hp. Subaru should be ashamed that the new 2.5 WRX didn't get more than 230 hp.

    :(
