My work recently got a liquor license and I have been put in charge of finding some of the equipment we need.
Where is the best place to get taps for kegs from?
And is there a style that works better than others?
I'm not to worried about cost, just which work and which don't and where to get them with out getting ripped off. I do have access to restaurant supply stores, but for stuff like this they are not always cheaper.

    thanks,

    Scotty

taps depend on the kegs. whatcha serving? Northern Brewer will have what you need.

Northern Brewer is great and I've had good luck with Micro Matic & KegWorks online. I've ordered from BeverageFactory before too, they're good but they don't seem to be in any hurry to get orders out the door...

This weekend I'm having a NYE party, with a Summit Winter and a Newcastle keg, but otherwise it'll be for work and we can get just about anything the liquor stores can and then some ;)

I bought stuff at Northern Brewer a few years ago, but they are a little overpriced. You will need a US-Sankey tap for all domestic taps. I highly recommend a Perlick faucet.
Check out Midwest supply and maybe a few online places or stores that specialize in restaurant supply. Midwest has a fairly extensive online ordering site.

+1 for micromatic, they are really cheap and have done me right for my converted chest freezer keg setup. Northern Brewer is great for when you need that one damn fitting you forgot to order and you want to drink beer RIGHT NOW
