My remote no longer works and since Im in the market for a new fob I wanted to know if there are any other remotes that work with a 2004 wrx. The oem remote is rather ugly and Im hoping I have another option...

^Yes I will have to get a replacement. I do not like the look of the oem remote, are there any other subaru remotes that can be programmed to work with a wrx

I believe the keyless entry/alarms were made by Alpine in 2004. It should have been a kidney shaped remote. I don't believe the newer tear drop style remotes will work, but not certain. Not sure if that helps or not but there's my $0.02
