They were the sponsor a decade ago when they came out with Team Knight Rider and there were Mustangs, F-150s, etc. Team Yugo would be more entertaining....
i dont understand why they didnt stay true, i would have loved to see kitt as a new(er) firebird, or even a GTO!
And what's with Kitt's voice? In the original he was a smart but namby-pamby guy, somewhat gutless. Oh well, Ghostbusters is on Spike now. Much better! "Listen. Do you smell something?"
Boring! All I remember before I changed the channel was nothing but a boring talk between kitt and the chick. Yeah major Ford sponsorship, what is up with those wings.. looks like it belongs on a car with random flame stickers on it.
Dr Ray Stantz: Everybody can relax, I found the car. Needs some suspension work and shocks. Brakes, brake pads, lining, steering box, transmission, rear-end. Dr. Peter Venkman: How much? Dr Ray Stantz: Only $4800. Dr Ray Stantz: Also new rings, mufflers, a little wiring.
They're wrecking all my favorite shows from when I was a kid? What next? A bad remake of Miami Vice or Quantum Leap?
I'm sure they took bids on the show as far as who would be represented (GM, Ford, Chrysler). Its probably Ford's response to Transformers. Personally, I thought it was decent, as far as a newer version could be. As far as the wing goes, it was necessary. I don't know if you caught it, but they had to go 600 and some odd miles and KITT said he could do it in 3:17 or something like that. AKA, 200mph. The car would need that much wing, if not more
Don't give NBC any ideas... Cathcing an episode a long time ago I realized the A-Team shot thousands of rounds of ammo and never killed anybody. And they were an elite team from Vietnam? No wonder we lost that war! j/k
Did you see the new knight rider? A transformer with solid aluminum rims? Gross... http://shadowyflight.com/news/2008/07/attack-kitt-reveal-knight-rider.php
