Hey guys looking for some input here. I bought a set of AGX's from CVRMotorsports a little over a year ago. My rear drivers side has totally lost its gas charge and is leaking oil now. I have done nothing that would have caused this. I am trying to get a replacement under the lifetime warranty. I called customer service at KYB and the guy said i needed to contact the vendor. I have been unable to get ahold of anyone at this CVR place, i have called (it just rings, no voice mail) and sent emails.

Does anyone know if there is any way to get this taken care of locally? If not who can i talk to at KYB?

You can search a list of their service providers within 50 miles of a zip code. I would assume that them being a service provider would mean they are also a retailer and thus might be willing to work with you on getting a replacement.

Ive talked to a few local distributors and they said they cant do anything unless it was purchased through them. Im really surprised i cant get ahold of anyone at CVR, its rather angering.

This is some thing I used to have to deal with often when I was working in the motorcycle industry. Customers used to tell me all the time how they could find parts cheaper online. My response was always:

"True, but will you be able to walk into that online store when you have a problem with it and walk out with a new one? Will that online store be there to give you technical assistance about the item? Will that online store be there 8 months down the road when it fails to warranty it?"

There are many reason to buy at brick and mortar stores, this is one of them.

Have you tried their AOL/AIM contact

Haha i kinda figured you would be on here. I see your car there every day coming home from work, i live just back off Edenvale there.

Ive got both those screen names on my list but they arent on. Ill give them a day to get back to me, then ill give KYB a shot again.
