laptop shutting off

    damn it.. HP pavillion dv8000 always runs sooo hot... finally it would not stay on longer then 3 mins...

    so with a piss off demeanor I pulled it apart.. and when I say apart.. I mean EVERYTHING...


    2 hrs later (people say 5hrs to do it) I pulled out the fan, lubed it up and out it back together minus 3 screws... but i said &^&^%$&** it it dont need em...



    fired her up..

    is now running at a cool 48*C constantly... which is awesome seeing as it was running at around 75*C before...


    just patting myself on teh back as I am definitely not a computer geek... ha ha
