    what kind of leak?

the electrical seems kinda serious. Steering wheel column smokes means---> maybe wire insulation is burning but not sure since you said your lights dim. I don't know much about electrical but you should check your fuses and relays to make sure their still alive. Maybe a 'resistor' is dead somewhere in the circuits causing too much power for the wires to handle?...i would get it check out before it gets worst

when i first got my car the oil was leaking and it was burning on my catalytic converter. I changed from regular motor oil to full synthetic and thats when it started to happen it was also less then a month and a half of owning it. You might want to change your oil gaskets since they are leakin between the seals. After replacing my oil gaskets and giving the engine bay a power wash there was no more burning oil and the engine looked alot cleaner.

time to get the oil pump re-sealed, rear access cover re-sealed, and a new rear main seal...not cheap! but not detrimental

Gaskets are like...$5 - $10, then doing the job is free, but time consuming. If you have someone else do it, it'll be like...you know...$100+

My Dad and I replaced the oil pump seal/front crank seal on our '93 Legacy. It's not hard at all.....pretty much straight forward. I have to find out where mine is leaking from. BUT I'm going to build my EJ22T so I need to look for EJ25 cam seals and EJ22T engine gasket kit.
