Ahh, tis the season for Subaru's. I just had fun tearing around the neighborhood with snow flying over the hood, all while having a big grin on my face. There were at least 2 occasions where people on the street turned to look at what kind of car could possible be traveling through such deep snow with such ease. Too bad i'm debadged. I did stop to help a neighbor get unstuck though...it's a good opportunity to tout the subaru brand after they ask "how come you didn't get stuck?" I just reply.."you've gotta get a Subaru!" Have fun, and be safe if you have to drive out there today!
this happened to me once...except they threatened to call the cops on me for careless/reckless driving. good luck, lol. +1 for pics/videos!
In for the first report of the invincible-snow-machine got stuck in the great blizzard of the winter of '10-'11.
"Look Russ, you can't even see the lines"...just got back from running from Andover to Champlin. Can't tell the edge of the road from the center! Be careful subaru breathren!
I ran over to Menards. There was a little FWD car stuck in the parking lot. So I whipped a ****ty in front of him and parked. Then preceded to run in and buy up the stuff my wife needed. He was gone when I got back out. But I'm sure he wasn't thrilled with his situation. I have little pitty for those people. Two things... if the snow is deeper than your door sill, don't go out wihtout AWD. If you can't drive in these conditions, you don't belong out there.
Just spent 30 minutes shoveling out an AWD VW in front of my house in St Paul, so you may want to clarify that statement .
watching noobs around ridgedale proves that we need laws like Colorado where it becomes illegal to be on the road unless you have 4wd and chains. THATS RIGHT PRIUS I'M TALKING TO YOU!!!! Seriously, get off the road before you endanger/ get in the way of others.
