does anyone know where you can get a free look up of a driver record?
I want to run my license and see everything sitting on it.

MNCIS shows probably too much -- neither the cop nor a prosecutor on simple traffic violation will look up.

You're concerned with your DVS record. Strangely enough I have much greater access to MNCIS than the public (get everything), but don't get DVS records. Get a ticket in Coon Rapids or a serious traffic violation (DWI, etc) in St. Paul and I'll get your record. I don't recommend this route ;)

Oh and your odds of getting a minor traffic infaction conviction expunged barring some exceptional circumstance (one such circumstance is red light camera tickets sa they're unconstitutional) is roughly similar to my odds of owning a DB9 (Volante, please) within the next year.

Remember for court: Your violations don't "drop off." That ******* careless you got in 88? The prosecutor can see that (before about 85, it's a bit iffy that it'll be on there, but if it happened in the last 20 years in Minnesota, you're owned). Prosecutors also have info from other states, notibly WI, IL, and OH are great at reporting. These records will not be in MNCIS, but will be in the DVS record.
