    I went to morries and bought some oil filters and they gave me some metal rings. What are these for?

    they go on the oil drain plug - take off the old one first.

    i just bought filters and was amazed at the discrepancy out there
    same filter for my 06 ran as low as $4.96 at Wal-Mart and as high as $11 something at checker

    My regular mechanic loves it, but it did confuse him the first time he saw it. Mine was actually already on the car when I bought it, so I was able to cross it off the shopping list straight away. Just one more small reason to be pleased with the car I ended up with.
