Llumar ATX 40% tint

    Does anyone have any pics of this kind of tint on there subbie?

    Im thinking of having this kind of tint put on my incomming 08 Aspen white STi and having solar shield in savage do the work.

    A picture will not show much, unless it has two different films shown head to head... Best bet, go there and look at it. The only thing you will see visually is the color and reflectivity. Generally, there is "purple-ish", "smoke-ish", and "gray-ish" colors available (not likely from the same manuf.) They are indicative of what is in the tint...the purple color comes from Aluminum, typically. I personally hate the purple shade... I have some left over material in the smoke and gray "area", but I wouldn't put it on anyone elses car as it is a couple of years old. I may put some on the front windows of the FX, though (can't stand untunted windows).

    I had Gjerde's do the work and it turned out pretty darn good. I have had lots of compliments on the tint.

    I went with the atx at 40% I wish it was a bit darker but did not want to go to dark with the law being 50%
