i went to chilton and haynes web site and they have nothing listed. and i can't find anything on amazon or e-bay. only impreza service manuals. about $330.00 for the set.
Sorry, I was kindof making Aegis post this stuff. I should have just logged on. I have the e-manuals, pretty much PDF scans of the 02-03 manuals. They are pretty much the same for 04-05. And most of your mechanicals are going to be similar for the 06. At least it'll point you in the right direction. It's kindof large, just so you know, but I can put it up on t3hw00t for direct download for a couple days (That means the rest of you knuckleheads can get it too) Give me a little bit to FTP the stuff up to the site.
OK, it's on its way up to the server. It should take another 10 minutes (116MB file) The whole thing is zipped. The manual is broken down into 8 parts with a table of contents as the 9th piece. All of them PDFs, so make sure you have Acrobat or something like that installed.
I wouldn't waste the money on a Haynes manual... they don't go into detail on much of anything... Chiltons are usually better for the money, but if u want the most in depth factory service manuals are the way to go from what i've heard...
Just out of curiosity if we are a tempting to be a upstanding Subaru club should we be posting links to copyrighted Subaru material, material one is supposed to pay for? I ask only because SF.org has a strict policy against it..... I have had my hand slapped over there. Should we be the same, or does MNSubaru consider it a none issue(for future reference)?
Let me preface this with I am willing to pay for these......Is there digital factory manuals available? I'd still like to pick up paper ones at some point too....(I've always navigated those faster for some reason)
This is the only link we should really be posting. Straight from the source, subscription based. Thank you, sir.
was going to suggest the same thing, i just print what i need at the time, then start the collectiong that way. ahhh the wonders that google can do.
