So I lost my remote transmitter for the factory key less and alarm system for my car MY 02 wrx. Is this something that can be replace? If so, anyone in here knows how to reprogram the new remote transmitter if I were to get a new one?

You can make your car learn the new remote by opening the door, closing the door, turning on/off the ignition key 10 times, then pressing the lock button then rolling down your Windows, pressing the gas pedal, then the brake pedal, then wash your Windshield and all within 20 seconds. Well, something close to that, it says in you owners manual, you can probably Google it too. EBay has replacement key fobs for cheap.

Really it's just the turning on the ignition and turning off the ignition then closing the doors thingy? If that's it then I sure don't need the dealer charging me 70$ to close my car doors. LOL

You should be able to get a replacement one with a new battery off of Ebay for around $20. Follow the Cars101 instructions to reprogram the remote to your car. Super easy, but you may have to do it a few times to get it right.

Come into Minnetonka, I priced the correct MNsubaru price. BP subaru isnt all about the discount.
