Making an Intake

I will be needing to attach a pipe/filter to an APS/Agency power hard inlet to make an intake. The only problem is, I need to get the piping stuff ordered still and don't have the inlet to measure. Does anyone know the outside diameter of either of these? They should be the same.

its 3.5" across where the filter mounts

 

I am actually just mounting a pipe off the end of the inlet, so i need to know what size pipe to get. There will be no maf over there anymore

 

should be a 3" od on the pipe
