OK... heres the deal.... Saturday after hours I will be doing some side jobs... PRA4SNO will be there with a couple of friends doing some jeep swaps while I work on another car... there is some guys who wanted to bake their head lights and spray them.... If you want to come down we can try to get them done while other stuff is happening too.... THIS IS THE LAST NIGHT I AM OPEN TO STUFF till I return from Australia... 1. If you want to bake/paint your lights, someone bring some heat guns and paint, and primer... 2. This IS NOT a free for all.... open lift night... 3. No drinking or smoking... 4. I wont be staying till midnight lets just say that... but we can be there late. If I think of other things I will post them up.... this isnt a NORMAL open house thing that I have done before... but if people are interested in coming down and hanging out in a warm shop then come down for a while...
what about mounting balancing tires? i need to swap some tires around on some 17's - i used to work at a shop so i can do this easily (it has been a while though), i just don't want to pay $15 a tire when i know how easy it is (with a good tire machine lol)
m&b... if you do it yourself then pay me $10 for cost of weights... I know they dont cost that much unless it is really bent but that is a rental fee ha hah a for using 2 machines worht about $8000 to do your job... ha ha ha if I did it I charge $10 M&B per tire.... its not hard generally but you got to remember as a business they have to cover the employee.. there is more costs involved in changing a tire.. example... employee lifts tire wrong and tweaks his back.. now he has to get examined ($$$$$) then he is off work till he can work again ($$$$$$$), costs of buying, maintaining equipmetn ($$$$$), towards uniforms, air tools to pull wheels of car (not always) and re-install, again technician has to lift tires onto car... yada yada yada... we have to pay to insure our employees working in the shop.... yada yada.. so that $15 a tire doesnt look so bad now that it is actually a money loss for a a shop when customer wants to walk in and change tires... ha ha I write this.. cause I get so pissed (when) customers who want their brakes looked at free and diagnosed so they can fix it themselves when you tell them whats wrong, or scan their car and spend an hour of your time at your cost for NO charge (they expect this) to diagnose their car... I mean after all its their right to get allthis free when the owner spends millions opening a business just so customers have somewhere to bring there car for free work.. ha ha ha phew.. I need this holiday... ha ha ha
i can m&b tires fine - your machine handles 17" wheels ok? i remember when i worked at a shop our machine wasn't really designed to handle low pro tires and anything above 16" could get tricky depending on the how small the sidewall was.
Anyone want me to drop my heat gun with Nate when I stop down tomarrow so you can use it for headlights!? Anyone!!??
im coming from monticello whiner...so basicly shut off your linkin park, comb the hair AWAY from your face and GET DOWN THERE!
hey i'll go, i just don't want to have to pick shannon up lol  he has a perfectly driveable wrx lol
I too am going to TBT that night. Sweeeet. They put on an awesome show last time, so the girlfriend and I already bought tickets. Have a good time with the kangaroos and dingos, mate!
looks like I might be making a trip to Upull on Saturday....so I might be able to stop by the shop later that night.
well give me a real count... I will be there till I am done witht he tune up.. then if no-one else is rally around then I am going home... start packing for Australia....
I'm still planning on coming by - which meineke location is yours and what time is it ok to show up? my friend is probably going to ride with me and possibly his friend and STi
we close at 4pm..... so around 4pm is fine... remember this is open for anyone, but it wont be a free for all in the shop... I have to do a tune-up and a couple of alignments... seeing I was gonna be there late and some guys wanted to do their balck out light mod I offered to open a bay or 2 if there is room, as pra4sno and his friend will be swapping some parts on their jeeps.... so they may have 2 bays... I willhave 1, so there may be 1 or 2 post bays open, there will be a bay wihtout a lift up the other end open too.... please bring your own small amount of tools, as I dont want people digging into my techs tools.... also if you are doing your lights, you will need a heat gun or 2 and your primer / paint...
Still be able to do the PS flush and Diff fluids nate? Or atleast get me going in the right direction. -Josh
hey nathan ....i cant show up that day ...cuz i have to work ...sorry but im sure there are someone else are blackin out their headlight out there..

i'm not going cause you are being a girl....it must be because you miss fongy ps - i'll see you there.
Good news: I think I found a motor for my toyota here in Duluth... Bad news: I'm not going to be in the cities this weekend....sorry.
Don't forget about "Courtney Truck Service" they too carry RL products and they are like 15 min. away from me. Here is their address: 14205 62nd St W Eden Prairie, MN 55346 (612) 934-0931
Might have to give that a try, much closer than Ramsey (sorry LSE, thanks John). See you tomorrow people! Yes Nathan while you were sleeping I was plotting ways to make you take my monies. All part of my evil plan.
Looks like I may be coming up just for the flush and some socializing. Dont feel like driving all over and the place in EP is closing. Unless anybody is going by a Redline Dealer?
