I went to the 3rd annual midwest subaru meet last year in Des Moines.....but it was a slightly different group, there were more lifted EA81s than imprezas......and only about 20 subarus total. hehe if I'm available, and have a working car, I'll come.

I mapquested it and its about 5 and 1/2 hours from my house which is by the airport. I switched my on-call week so I have this weekend off! So I'm wondering if this is mostly lifted Suby's and RS's that are going...or will there be some WRX's and STI's too?
^ i honestly cant say. i have never been to one of these before. my guess is that since it was posted on rs25 there will be mostly RSs there. but ti was also posted on nasioc so my guess is its fair game. anyway even if it is moslty RSs or something i doubt it really matters, being its all subies.
I doubt there will be any lifted rigs there. the Midwest meet I went to was a different event. it was just through ultimate subaru, not RS25 or Nasioc.

After looking at were this thing is being held I am going to have to back out. That is just too far for me with classes starting tomorrow again (yes summer classes, damb I am really starting to hate school). I was hoping it would be a little closer.
It is quite a drive away.. maybe its too far We could make a mnsubaru drive to Buena Vista and have a grill-out and throw some footballs and catch a few frisbee's
Its 5.5 hours away?? Damn i didn't know that. If we do the closer one i'm down, but i don't think i can drive that far for a day then drive back.
it will be an overnight. apparently they have camping areas. so we could camp out by the fire then head back on sunday.
you know the loyale won't be running by then, and the poopenvagen isn't really reliable to go to long lake anymore......
I would, but I need to keep working on the loyale. the poopenvagen is coming apart at the seams. it needs to be taken to it's final resting place (brad's yard lol)
