Minneapolis MN Cars & Cafe

It's getting to be that time of the year again. Last year, we decided to have our first event in April, and hopefully the weather will cooperate with us to do it again this year.
Our last event in October of last year brought out over 250 cars plus hundreds of other spectator cars.

As those of you have attended know, this event brings out the best and most rare cars in MN and WI.

The location is the Minneapolis AutoMotorplex located at:
1740 Motorplex Ct. Chanhassen MN (About 10 minutes away from the old location)

For people traveling east of 494 we would encourage you to take the Crosstown (62) extension (HWY 5) the where it becomes 212, exit on Powers Blvd (Which is 1 exit past 101) go right, drive approx 500 ft and turn left on Lyman (at the light) travel approximately 1 mile, turn right on Audubon and we will be 1.1 mile on the left.

I believe its free admission and you can park your Subaru in the JDM section.

So is this different then cars and coffee? even though its at the same motorplex?

 

It must be the Italian version...

 

My understanding is its the same thing, they just relocated to the other section of the motorplex.

Its one thing to see a bunch of cool cars sitting next to each other doing nothing, and another to see them in action.

The parking map is xenophobic. I'm putting General Lee stickers on the wagon and parking it in the American section.

 

Yes that space will soon be vacant, as soon as Chrysler goes belly up. LOL

in the jap lot^^^^^^. The nicest wheeled object I own only has 2 wheels, it goes in the bike section. FTW

 

Is there a meet this Saturday?

 

according to the automotorplex website, there is one this Saturday the 4th

 

There is also now a New Building in the General Parking area next to the jap section. ill be out there.

 

Dudes, FYI you may want to refer to that section as JDM, some may take offense.

 

I just got back from the July 4th meet. I saw Shibbs there and some other Subaru's that I don't know. Pretty big turnout the parking lot was pretty full.

 

Shibbs is a poser, he got stuffed with the other ricers
