New member here and moving to the darkside. Still own my Honda Si, but I've been eyeing this car ever since the face lift from the 08-11 model. Ordered a white 2013 WRX Wagon last week, and was given an 8 week wait peroid (which we all know will be longer!)....I just had to have the car after I test drove it a few months back..and this is the first week and it's been long already. Ordering a few parts here and there already. No major mods as wife said, no. Plans are rims, coilovers, catback and a few bling goodies for the engine bay. Will be stock until warranty is out.
Plan out your mods so you don't buy parts that you replace down the road. Subies are different then Vtec. Some bolt ons require a tune. I would highly suggest talking to the community prior to your purchase to educate yourself on the opinions of those that have been in your shoes... and made mistakes. The 13 Wagon has a beefed up suspension vs older WRX models. Make sure you don't skimp out on the suspension... there is a lot of crap out there. Famous last words
hahah! Yeah I have been reading a ton on Naziasioc, since last year when I was interested. I won't join since I'm blocked from there from work. Not to mention they all point you to stickies so I read stickies either way. I've read, a simple intake needs a stage 1 tune etc...aftermarket BOV's are a no-no as well at atmosphere release. Really touchy cars, as I've read.
