Well, looks like they are off to a AWESOME start. 4-0 and they have all been good games. A little slow the first game, but they have really picked it up. It will be real nice when the slovak line starts clicking and they start putting up some good numbers.

I want rollie back! Once every team in the NHL figures out that fernandez just falls on his face every shot he takes, we will be screwed

Last nights game was awesome towards the end. It was a bit slow at first but well worth it.

Free all you can eat and drinks doesn't hurt either ;) Thanks to Sprint and RIM!

They are currently the best record in the NHL, with 4 wins!

It is nice to see the Wild shooting the puck more. I always say you can't score if you don't shoot. If you shoot, there is at least the chance for a rebound that can be recovered and shot and scored.

Hows does this work? i want free food!

In some interview with Manny, he said that when there arnt many shots on goal he looses his edge. gets cold or bored or something.

Gotta love Booger man Boogard causin hell with them Bluejackets!!! He wins a fight in the first period after he had cleaned some guy out, then causes three powerplays for the Wild with more hits in the 3rd period sending three seperate Columbus players to the penalty box at the same time!!! GOAL Rolston, his second, and the rout was on!

Go WILD! 82 and 0 baby! (Well maybe not, but you gotta love em)

Can't wait for them to come down here and put some hurt on the traitorous Stars. I live only a few miles from the rink down here but from what I hear it's actually pretty tough to get tickets.

Great game last night. Alot of new people stepped up so thigns really started to click. Derek's big fight was right in front of us, so it was sweet to see him connect to shelly's head a couple of time. Hit got in a good one at the end and you could see shell'y eyes just roll back in his head. For anyone that listened to the post game show......

Really!! Boogard drew those penalties? i wasnt able to watch due to shenangains. but i was definately happy to hear about the 5/0 win. and it makes it even better if boogard was a key part of making that happen.

Anyone catch the game last night?? It was crazy. I think we actually have a contender. Poor Boogard, he gets into 2 fights that he wants no part of. Oh well, I guess that what you get for being 6-7 and 255lbs.

^ you could tell Boogaard broke Fedoruk's face Friday night. No way you have to ice yr hand after hitting flesh.... and the way he dropped, holding his cheek... damn.
I think old dude got his face jacked up in '03 (broken cheek, and jaw)... If its the same side, I cant imagine reconstructing a reconstructed face is easy!

Fedoruk has a broken jaw and orbital bone. there are many accounts that as he left the ice to go the hospital people saw his face was caved in. Thats freaky! i bet no one messes with the boogie man for a while.

it is really sad to see that we lost in the last game, it just looks like we cant keep it together with out wallz in there.

They talked to him after the game and boggie wasn't real happy with the hit. He said that if given the chance, the other guy would have done the same thing, so you kinda have to do it to protect yourself. I am guess that he wasn't trying to cave in the other guys face, but you gotta do what you gotta do. Hopefully they will snap back from the last loss and give Vancouver a beating.

oh man we are playing the canucs next? i will have to watch that game.

as for teh boogie man his has improved dramatically. its evident in his skating and the in the amount we see him on the ice. IMO he is the most fun to watch w/ numaline as a close second.

^^^^ Well, it wasn't really that close. If you really think about it, the wild scored 8 goals last night, it just so happens that 2 of them were in our net. It was a good game, really wide open. If every game was like that, every game in the nhl would be sold out.

I only got to watch from the 3rd period+. But wow it was fun to watch, it seemed very fast paced and rather physical. That was a much needed road win. Hopefully the can come home and beat up on Colorado a bit.

AGREED! Amazing game! Especially considering we were down 6-3 with 6 mins left in the 2nd period and we couldn't seem to keep the puck out of our own net! Overall, something like 45 shots on goal each!

So who saw the game last night? Insane shoot out. Just enough action to keep you interested in the whole game. Butch's spin-o-rama winning shoot out goal. Looks like them might be turning the slump around a bit.

We need to get some players back. like half of the team is injured, so we are using AHL people. i think getting marian groinerick, and wes walls back for a while would definately help. joques had better not forget about the slovakian line. also whats the deal with winehandle? he is a good player but gets virtually no ice time!

Best shootout move I have seen in some time!!! I totally called that one with by buds watchin the game at home!!! "Watch, Bouchard is going to pull that spin move off in the shootout!!" And sure as sh*t, there it was....

    AWESOME move!

We just need to find a ways to get these guys back from all of the injuries! Then it will be on like Donkey Kong!

Guess it kinda sounds like some of them will be ready for Thursdays game and hopefully Gabby will be ready shortly after. Excel went crazy when Butch scored. it was pretty cool. I also think that rolston buy's the number 1 stars.

Russ took me to the game last night. Thanks Russ! It was an awsome game to go to. Just when I thought it was getting a little boring something big happened. The SO was awsome I am glad they changed the rules to allow shoot outs. It made for a much better game IMHO.

    EXCEL = Thumbs UP!

You can't really appreciate the Wild and Hockey until you go see it live and in person!!! Especially when you go to the number 1 rated arena in sports in the Excel Energy Center!!!

Amazing venue, and an atmosphere like none other in this state!!!

I can't wait to go back! Congrats on gettin the cherry popped last night, hope it was fun...

^ I live in Mn it wasn't my first game. Anyone remember the Star's? LOL It was my second Wild game. The first was the first year when they didn't have the shoot out rules. IMHO the SO rule is the best thing for NHL as the Excel is the best for the Wild.

    ^ Civic Center Ruled!!!

Oops, well glad you enjoyed it! I agree on the whole shootout thought though as it has definitely been a positive for the game of hockey where there aren't any ties anymore, adding a new flair to the game!!! :)

+1 on remembering the North Stars... I used to watch ever game as a kid and I can remember going to one of the last games in the Civic Center against the hated Red Wings... We lost!

    Just another shootout win baby!

Tough game, as there were TONS of penalties called tonight... Nice performance from Manny in net as we take it again in the shootout! 9-2 in overtime now!!! Great shootout slap shot by Rolston again as his shot seems to have the ability for time travel it goes so fast as he beat another goalie with the blur!

Go Wild, two in a row BABY!!!
