Well, I got my EJ22T completely torn down. 224K miles and still had factory honing marks on the cylinder walls. The pistons looked amazing as well. Dan (Piddster) and I bought the entire car for 400 bucks with a borked automatic tranny. It sat for 2 years and started up like it was brand new (although it needed a jumper pack because the battery terminals were corroded off completely) I got the motor/ecu/rear end and he pretty much got all salvageable body parts/auto driveshaft to use with his STI 6 speed/crossmember/interior/etc. Now I need to order forged pistons/rods new bearings and all new seals and send it off to the machine shop. Mmmmm, 2.2 RS here I come!

nice! i like to hear about the honing marks after 224k miles. 2.2ls are the wave of the future, everyone is going that way. 2.2l > 2.0l,2.5l,1.8l,ect.....
