It's these kind of posts that make me want to skip my VF39 swap and go str8 to 20G goodness. Knock it off.:yumyum:
its a bigger wheel that you shove a small little 3 inch compressor housing on and a waste of a internal wastgate on and say it cool beans because you can put it on a stock up and down pipe? still think any stock mounted turbo is a waste if you want to make more then 350whp. buy the time you buy the supporting mods like inlet, intake, up pipe, down pipe, oil and water lines ect, you are into the rotated price range anyway. and you get to use a external wastegate and 4inch ani surge housings that actually lets your turbo breath along with the fact that you can even spool rotated "bigger" turbos faster then these 20g's and reds and have tons of different housing options and wheel options ect.
^ THIS!!! If you can weld, its actually pretty cheap. One bend each of 2.25in and 3in should be enough material to modify your up-pipe and downpipe to achieve greatness. My oil feed line was $36, done the right way. A 2 foot piece of weatherhead hose for the return, couple hose ends, -8 to 14x1.5(IIRC) adapters, and you are plumbed. Add a clutch, fuel, tuning, and call me in the morning.
I 100 percent agree with this. But for me my car is a daily driver. I would not want to mess with more down time then I have too. Other wise my car would already have a rotated turbo set up.
